The title of this post seems quite hypocritical coming from someone who just finished writing his own expensive training course. However, in the description of the course, I tell certain people to stay away from buying the course.
You may be thinking: “What kind of crazy salesman encourages people to not buy their product?”
The reason that I don’t want everybody to buy the course is that I only want those who are COMMITTED to investing in mobile homes with land.
If you are still searching for where to begin your business, don’t spend a bunch of money.
Here’s the steps I believe new investors should take in investigating a new niche of real estate investing:
Free methods – Picking your niche of real estate investing when you’re first starting out can be difficult. There’s so many ways to make money in real estate. I recommend that you search the internet , read books from your local library, and listen to podcasts about real estate investing to get accustomed to a wide variety of niches.
Under $50 – Once you have found a niche that you think you might like, read as many books as you can on the topic. The eBooks on Amazon can be a great resource to read a ton of books for not very much money.
Also, talk to real estate investors (both online and locally) who are successfully investing in the niche you want to pursue and ask them for their advice.
Over $50 – Once you are certain you want to pursue a certain niche, then take action and buy that course.
Courses can be great assets if purchased effectively. They can greatly accelerate your business’s growth by helping you avoid early pitfalls. Just don’t buy them too early.
You don’t want to be the investor that has thousands of dollars on his shelf in courses that are outside of the niche he is focused on. Those thousands of dollars could have been used to help buy you a cash-flowing asset.
